Continue a longer story
Build a longer story one scene or chapter at a time. Specify the purpose of the passage, the opening situation and the clues that must remain, without combining too many unrelated changes.
Continuation uses the accepted manuscript and continuity records. Brainstormed options, pending revisions and accepted prose are different states; confirm important changes before proceeding.
If characters, objects, deadlines or knowledge conflict, use the context diagnosis or repair controls. Find the problem first, then review the revision. Versions and downloaded copies help you compare results.
